Sample Size Requirements

It is necessary that your sample size meets our minimum sample size requirements, which varies based on the type of test requested and the sample matrix being submitted.

CANNABINOID ANALYSIS AND HEMP POTENCY TESTING

Plant material: 2 grams
Concentrates: 2 grams
Infused products: 2 units or at least 2 grams

TERPENE PROFILE TESTING

Plant material: 1 gram
Concentrates: 1 gram
Infused products: 1 unit or at least 1 gram

RESIDUAL SOLVENT TESTING

Concentrates: 1 gram
Infused products: 1 unit or at least 1 gram

MICROBIAL CONTAMINATION TESTING

1 unit or no less than 3 grams for all sample types. Microbial test samples must be in a separate, sterile sample container from samples submitted for all other testing.

HEMP PESTICIDE TESTING

Plant material: 1 gram
Concentrates: 1 gram
Infused products: 1 unit or at least 1 gram

HEAVY METALS TESTING

Plant material: 1 gram
Concentrates: 1 gram
Infused products: 1 unit or at least 1 gram

MYCOTOXIN TESTING

Plant material: 1 gram
Concentrates: 1 gram
Infused products: 1 unit or at least 1 gram

EARLY DETECTION TESTING

1 leaf from 3rd node per plant for all early detection testing..

NOTE ABOUT OUR HEMP TESTING SAMPLE SIZES:

Sample sizes are per test. For example, if you require cannabinoid potency and residual solvent analysis, you will need to submit 2 grams for potency and 1 gram for residual solvents.
