Can I sample from anywhere in Georgia?

Yes, you can! Our team of samplers travel throughout the great state of Georgia. Please contact us to schedule a pick-up.

How much product do you have to submit for R & D(non-compliance) testing ?

For non-compliance testing, you can sample your own batch or product and prepare it for pick-up, drop-off, or mailing (in the case of hemp, or any products below the legal limit of 0.3% THC). The required sample amount depends on the number and type of analyses you are looking to have done. Please contact us and we’ll help you determine the required sample amount based on your product type and needs. For more on how to sample for an R&D batch, please watch this short video.

How much product do you have to submit do I have to submit for compliance testing ?

During compliance testing, a Cannabiz Laboratory sampler will conduct a “batch sampling” onsite at your facility based on the type of product. For example, during a harvest batch sampling, a sampler must acquire a sample weighing 0.35% of the total harvest batch weight, with the maximum size for a single harvest batch being 50 pounds. All other batch sampling, including pre-rolls, are not completed by weight, but by unit count. The number of samples the sampler will collect is based on the number of units in the batch. The maximum number of units per batch that samples can represent is 150,000.

How can I send samples to your lab?

You are more than welcome to drop our R&D samples off at our laboratory front desk, or we can arrange for courier pick up. If you are submitting samples for state compliance testing, we will need to arrange for a Cannabiz Laboratory Sampler to come and collect your sample(s) onsite at your facility. To arrange for a sample pick-up, please email  info@cannabizlabs.com or call (470)429-1619. Current clients may also schedule a sample pick-up thru our client portal.  For clients needing to set up recurring pick-up, please let our team know and we’ll get that set up for you.

Can I mail my sample to you ?

Yes! We can receive any/all cannabis or hemp samples for testing, just as long as they are below the 0.3% THC threshold. Please mail your sample to:  Attn: Cannabiz Laboratory, 150 Technology Parkway, Suite 156, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092

Do you have a sample pick-up fee?

It depends. Please call our office at (470) 429-1619 or email us at info@cannabizlabs.com to discuss.

We currently offer a standard 3–5 day turnaround time with options for expedited/rush orders. Depending on when you place your order, we can even offer same-day results. Please reach out to us for details, as certain tests require more time. Timelines will be discussed prior to beginning testing.

Will my results be made public available?

No, your results will not be made publicly available unless you specifically request them to be.

What if I’m not licensed by the state?

If you are not state-licensed, you are still able to submit samples for analysis, but you will not be able to submit samples for compliance testing.

How can I access my result / certificate of analysis?

The easiest way to access your results/COA would be to log into our client portal.

I’m having issues with lab-to-lab variability in my supply chain?can you help?

We have specialized testing programs to help ensure consistency throughout the supply chain. We offer testing with all levels of the supply chain to address variability from cultivation to manufacturing to distribution. Testing throughout the supply chain allows cultivators /manufacturers/ distributors to make more informed business decisions. Lab–to–lab variability and inter-lab variability poses significant financial and operational burdens. Having one lab providing testing for your entire supply chain reduces the chance of inaccurate results, communication issues, and late-stage identification of problems that could have been avoided if they were uncovered and addressed/remediated earlier in the supply chain.

What happens if my product doesn’t pass?

Unfortunately, failures happen. We have the tools and support to help our clients identify the source of the failure. In addition, our team can help navigate the remediation request process. Many laboratories do not have the capacity or experience to offer guidance through the failure and remediation process. Cannabiz Laboratory has the time–tested experience and personnel to help ease the pain during these unfortunate circumstances.

Can you provide compliance/regulatory training?

Yes! We offer customized training on the compliance sampling process to ensure a seamless testing experience.  Navigating the regulatory waters is one of the most difficult aspects of running a licensed cannabis business. Not everyone has time or experience needed to read and interpret every detail of the state regulations. We’ve dealt with every type of roadblock you can imagine, and  understanding the regulatory compliance testing process is critical to the success of all cannabis businesses.  Let us walk your staff through the process to help you avoid common mistakes and headaches.
